John Ritter Sr. has owned and operated Highland Autostar since 1971. In years of servicing Highland Park and surrounding communities, the business has undergone three major expansions to its current state-of-the-art facility on the corner of West 7th and Homer Street. In 2007 John Ritter Jr assumed the general manager role of the day to day operations. While John Sr is still actively involved daily we are excited to begin a transition into a second generation owner.

 

1. Estimates & Warranties
   • We analyze damage done to your automobile by using checklists. We then use the checklist to compile a comprehensive report of all the damages. We use this as a blue print for the repairs on your automobile.
   • We guarantee all our workmanship. We also certify that the structural restoration meets manufacturers specifications.
   • The limited warranty covers, parts and materials used in repairs and workmanship to finish the repairs process.
2. Bodywork
   • Most automobiles today are a uni-body frame. This takes special equipment and the finest materials to properly repair the damage and to align your vehicle properly.
3. Painting
   • Modern factory finishes consists of many layers of specialized paints. It takes many techniques and hours of training to achieve these finishes.
4. Technology & Training
   • With modern technology always changing we must stay current in our training. We do this by using job clinics, factory schools, video tapes and custom designed in-house training programs.
